Family Vacation to Oregon...

Last year, Sam and I joined my family for a weeks vacation in Oregon. It was a nice time to relax and enjoy each others company. It was the first time I had been up to Oregon, and I was struck with how beautiful it was. There were also some giant sand dunes that we explored a little, and lots and lots of green. It reminded me a lot of places in New Zealand.

We were in Oregon for the Fourth of July, so we headed into the little town nearby to watch the fireworks display. Unfortunately, it was cold and drizzled the whole time, but we still got to see the fireworks.

We also got to go sandboarding and butt-boarding while we were there. It is kind-of like snow-boarding only down sand dunes. Here is Sam getting some air off a little jump they made.
