Malibu Creek...

A couple of weekends ago, Julia (Sam's sister), Ben (Julia's husband), Sam and I went out to Malibu Canyon Creek Park. When you first arrive it doesnt look like much, but as you hike back into the park, you suddenly come across this pool of water that is surrounded by big canyon walls. The canyon walls are quite unique as they are very porous and full of holes. This makes it great for rock climbing and such. It is also a popular place for swimming and showing your lack of fear by jumping 6-18 ft off the canyon walls . Below are some pictures that Jules took of us as we were clambering over rocks and just having a great time enjoying the amazing creation of our God. This park also holds many fond memories for Sam and his family as they spent many a family day at this park. Thanks Jules for taking these very cool pictures...

If you look hard, you can see Sam and I down there.

Julia was able to get all four of us in the picture...
