Tuesday Heading South and Wednesday to Bluff

Tuesday morning we parted ways with grandma and granddad. It was truly a sweet time with them. It felt so comfortable this first week with Andy and Barby showing us around the country. We had our hugs and away we went down to Bluff. It is a full 7.5 hour drive to go from Christchurch to Bluff, but it is almost impossible to drive more then an hour or so without some exciting attraction to stop and see. This first park was the kids first view of barrel roll. After we stopped at this first one, we found 2-3 more as we went south. Definitely a favorite.

For awhile we drove by the coast and stopped near a place Nicki would go to with her family growing up.

We made it 5 hours south on Tuesday and then found a campground on the beach to sleep at. In the morning we want over to the beach for an hour and enjoyed the fine sand of NZ.

Wednesday we journeyed to the bottom of the world in Bluff, the second closest city on closest to Antarctica. We found an amazing free zipline and a giant bouncing Zebra like ones Nicki grew up using. Then, in God's providence we ended up going to a home group with our new friend Caleb we met at church in Christchurch. One of the couples at the study Nicki knew growing up. We really enjoyed fellowshipping with that family.
